Wirtshaus Am Trostgrund in Rechenberg-Bienenmuehle

We wanted to reserve a table here yesterday evening at 7.30pm ...... the nice lady on the phone told me that they are now locking because they have worked soooo hard all day that they are now closing. It is actually open until 9 p.m.

Ambience something out of time. But very tasty food!

Great quaint Erzgebirgige kitchen, the food tasted very good, prices super, beer Rhenberger delicious, host very hospitable, was a great evening.

Too bad that I can only give 5 stars here - it was so nice that I would like to have given more. We arrived quite spontaneously with 14 people and had a wonderful afternoon. The landlord and host have provided us with great food and plenty of drinks and in a top location. Beer banks were spontaneously put together so that we had a long table and could even enjoy the great weather outside. Thank you very much to the comfort reason :).

Very friendly innkeeper, well-kept premises, very good food.

An inconspicuous and slightly sewn restaurant, which with its simple appearance at first glance does not seem to be a "surprise". However, a pleasant family, friendly staff who did not mind even my terrible German (ie rather an attempt at it) and food for 1 and all five stars awarded above. Beer honestly and well shot, local, from the brewery, which is about 300m as the crow flies on a simpler slope of the valley. Unfortunately, only a very small garden with about 1 table, where locals usually sit.

ideal starting point for hikes in the Trostgrund, the food tastes excellent - very good, freshly prepared and inexpensive home cooking. The hosts are very friendly and open, so we always like to stop here.

Have my holidays in the beautiful Erzgebirge made and discovered while hiking this beautiful restaurant. Since we were hungry, we have returned. The guest room is bright and inviting and was apparently renovated. The service is very friendly and accommodating. The food was served quickly and tasted great :-) I can only recommend to anyone if he is traveling nearby and hungry to look in there.
